About Good Fences

We've been fencing across the Bay of Plenty since 2012. Timber paling, post and rail, pool safety fencing, farm fencing, and driveway gates. If it separates one thing from another and needs to look good doing it, we can help.
Two permanent crew, fully equipped, and we carry our own materials. No subcontracting, no markup surprises. You deal with us start to finish.

What we build
Residential, rural, or commercial. If it needs a fence, a gate, or a barrier in the Bay of Plenty, we've probably done it.
Standard and good neighbour paling fences in pine or hardwood. We set the posts right, use proper rails, and don't skip the primer. You'll notice the difference in year five.
Decorative post and rail for sections, driveways, and rural boundaries. Rustic or clean finish. H5 posts where the ground contact demands it — which in Tauranga is most places.
Glass, aluminium, or timber pool barriers built to NZS 8500. We know the compliance requirements and build to them. Council inspection shouldn't be a problem with one of ours.
Sliding or swing gates, manual or automated. Timber or steel. We build the gate and the posts together so everything is aligned and runs properly. Automated gate openers installed and commissioned.
Post and wire, electric, and stock fencing for rural properties around the Bay. We understand what farming fences need to do, and we build accordingly.
Fence along the top of a retaining wall, or a fence that does the retaining itself. Tauranga sections often need both problems solved at once. We do a lot of these.
