What we do

Residential &
commercial concreting.

From a standard footpath to a full site pour, the basics are the same: correct base, correct reinforcing, correct mix, proper finish. We don't skip any of those.

01 — Driveways
Driveways

Plain, broom finish, or exposed aggregate. We prepare the base to the depth the job requires, not the minimum we can get away with. The driveway you get should still look good in fifteen years.

02 — Foundations
Foundations

Residential foundations designed and poured to engineer's spec. We work directly with your engineer and building surveyor. Taranaki volcanic soil conditions are something we know well.

03 — Paths & Patios
Paths & Patios

Pedestrian paths, entertainment areas, and outdoor living slabs. Gradient and drainage built in from the start. Correctly formed expansion joints so the cracking happens where it's supposed to.

04 — Garage & Shed Slabs
Garage & Shed Slabs

Properly reinforced floor slabs for garages, sheds, and workshops. The right thickness for the load, the right fall for drainage. Done once. Done properly.

05 — Exposed Aggregate
Exposed Aggregate

Washed exposed aggregate in a range of stone and colour options. More texture and traction than plain concrete, and better looking for longer. Popular for driveways in New Plymouth.

06 — Site Works
Site Works

Cut and fill, retaining walls, drainage channels, and kerbing. If the concrete is structural and outdoors in Taranaki, it's work we've probably done before.

About

Taranaki concreters
since 2013.

Based in New Plymouth, operating across the full Taranaki region. We started because the concreting standard here was variable, and a well-prepared fixed-price quote was harder to come by than it should be.

We don't quote low to win jobs and adjust later. We price it properly upfront, itemise it in writing, and stick to it. It means we lose some jobs to cheaper quotes. The customers we keep tend to stay.

Client reviews

What clients say.

"The quote was itemised and clear. The price on the invoice was the same. The driveway looks excellent and has held up through two Taranaki winters. Would not hesitate to use again."

Mike & Tracey O. — Fitzroy

"Did our shed slab and a footpath around the house in the same visit. Efficient, tidy, and genuinely good at what they do. Third tradie I've recommended them to in the last year."

Dave R. — Inglewood

"Exposed aggregate driveway. Beautiful finish. Three other quotes were lower — I'm glad I didn't take them after seeing the difference in preparation. This is the one to use in New Plymouth."

Jo & Carl M. — Bell Block
